Who can buy wholesale?
Businesses that buy diamonds to resell, set or manufacture.
Trade accounts are for jewellers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and designers with a registered business. We do not open trade accounts for private buyers. To apply, we ask for:
- Business registration, for example an ABN or company number
- Tax or GST registration, where it applies
- ID for a director or owner
- Details of the business's beneficial owners
- A trade reference
Please don't email ID documents. After you apply, you upload them in the trade portal. Full details are on the trade access page.
How does buying work from another state?
Search and hold
Log in to the trade portal, search the stock and hold a stone for 24 hours.

Ask for a video of the stone, or book a video call with our Sydney office.
Order and pay
Unless we agree credit terms with you in writing, orders are paid in full before dispatch.
Insured delivery
Stones ship insured with FedEx or Malca-Amit.

Can I check a stone without coming to Sydney?
Yes. Every certified stone is listed with its lab and report number, so you can check the report on the lab's own website before you pay. When the stone arrives, match the girdle inscription to the report number: see verify a certificate.

Questions
Do you supply jewellers outside New South Wales?
Yes. Trade accounts are open to registered businesses anywhere in Australia, and we also trade with buyers in India, the USA, Canada and Hong Kong.
Are wholesale prices in Australian dollars?
No. All prices are in US dollars. Any AUD figure is an estimate for convenience, and you are invoiced and pay in USD.
Do prices include GST?
No. Prices exclude GST, duties, import taxes and shipping unless stated.
Can I get a video of a stone before I order?
Yes. Ask from the stone's page in the trade portal, or send us an enquiry.
