Fancy colour diamonds
Superior Gems sources natural and laboratory-grown fancy colour diamonds to a trade buyer's spec, through the same request as any other stone. Every certified fancy colour stone is listed with its lab and report number, and natural and laboratory-grown stones are never mixed.

How is a fancy colour stone described?
For a certified stone, the lab report states the colour, and we pass on exactly what the report says. Check the report number on the lab's own website before you buy, then match the girdle inscription: see verify a certificate.
Stones without a lab report are graded in-house and labelled that way in our listings.
Certified fancy colour stones carry a GIA, IGI or HRD report.
Natural or laboratory-grown fancy colour?
Both can be requested, and the two are never described in one listing or price. A laboratory-grown fancy colour stone is described as a laboratory-grown diamond, in full, in the listing, the quote and the invoice.
Some laboratory-grown diamonds are treated after growth to improve their colour. Grading reports record this, and we pass on exactly what the report says.

How do I request a fancy colour stone?
Send the spec
Choose "Fancy colour", then give the shape, carat range, colour (for example fancy yellow), clarity, lab report and origin.
