Chemical vapour deposition. Carbon from a gas is deposited, layer by layer, onto a thin diamond seed until a crystal forms.
Laboratory-grown diamonds are real diamonds, grown above ground instead of mined. We sell them to the trade under their own name, and they're never mixed with natural stock.

High pressure, high temperature. A diamond seed sits in carbon under the heat and pressure found deep in the earth, and a crystal grows from it.
Some lab-grown diamonds are treated after growth to improve their colour. Grading reports record this, and we pass on exactly what the report says.
We write "laboratory-grown diamond" in full, with the word diamond right beside it and equal weight, in the trade portal, on invoices and in every listing. We don't make environmental claims we can't back up.

Yes. They have the same crystal structure and hardness as natural diamonds. The difference is where they formed.
Not by eye. Gem labs identify them with specialist instruments, and the grading report states the origin.
Yes, by parcel. See melee & parcels.
